Instructions

Note: You can buy ready-made hamburgers. Or make them yourself. Check this hamburger recipe

  • Prepare a BBQ or grill with a cast-iron grate for direct grilling and heat until a temperature of 200℃ is reached.

  • Grill the slices of smoked breakfast bacon until crispy and set aside.

  • Peel the bananas and cut them first in half lengthways, then halve again crossways.

  • Grill briefly and hot so that nice grill marks form, but without cooking the banana to a mush.

  • Remove the banana from the grill and keep warm.

  • Mix the strawberry jam with the BBQ sauce.

  • Stir the smoked salt through the peanut butter.

  • Cut the burger buns in half and toast the bread on the grill.

  • Season the burgers with salt and pepper (if needed!).

  • Grill the burgers on both sides until a core temperature of 54℃ for a nice medium rare result. (approximately 4 minutes per side)

  • Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on the bottom half of the burger buns.

  • Place the burger on top.

  • Divide the bacon and grilled banana over the burgers.

  • Finish with the strawberry jam and BBQ sauce.

  • Cover with the top half of the burger buns.

Enjoy your meal!
